Young athletes can miss out on the many benefits of organized sports when sidelined by injuries, said Robert J. Schoderbek Jr., MD, of Orthopaedic Specialists of Charleston, a member of Roper St. Francis Physician Partners.

“We want to provide this service so we can get kids healthy and get them out there playing again,” continued Dr. Schoderbek, who knows the devastation of a season-ending injury from his days as a high school soccer goalie.

While the clinic coincides with football season, it is open to all high school athletes in the Charleston area.
