Roper St. Francis Introduces New Sports Injury Clinic

Roper St. Francis Healthcare is pleased to announce the addition of a new Saturday morning Sports Injury Clinic for high school athletes.


Charleston, SCRoper St. Francis Healthcare is pleased to announce the addition of a new Saturday morning Sports Injury Clinic for high school athletes. The weekly Clinic will take place from 9 – 11 a.m. beginning Saturday, August 22 through Saturday, November 7.  It will be located at Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital in the offices of Orthopaedic Specialists of Charleston, Suite 200, East Medical Office Wing, 2095 Henry Tecklenburg Drive in West Ashley.  
 
Initial basic evaluation will be provided free of charge. On-site x-ray for further evaluation and diagnosis will be available. Cost for additional services will be based on diagnosis. Insurance will be accepted. For information, please call 843-958-2500. 

 

The Clinic will be staffed by Sports Medicine Fellowship -Trained Orthopaedic Surgeons Kenneth Caldwell, MD, John Graham, MD, and Robert Schoderbek, MD, who combined have more than 38 years of sports medicine experience.  
 
Dr. Caldwell completed his Sports Medicine Fellowship at the Hughston Clinic of Columbus, GA, and is the team physician for all sports at The Citadel. Dr. Graham also completed his Sports Medicine Fellowship at the Hughston Clinic and is the team physician for all College of Charleston team sports. Dr. Schoderbek completed his Sports Medicine Fellowship at the American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham, AL, and serves as the Wando High School team physician.
